Visit to Sunny Social Enterprise (SSE)
On March 27, 2025, the Alliance organized a visit to Sunny Social Enterprise (SSE) to explore Lantau’s unique local culture and agricultural heritage. The itinerary began at the OIWA Tang Fook Hing Memorial Farm, where members observed organic crop cultivation, followed by a tour of the historic Tong Fuk Village Red Wall to appreciate the village’s traditional architecture. The trip concluded at Herbsense in Tung Chung, offering members practical insights into how social enterprises operate through the application of local medicinal herbs.
Visit to Tai O Heritage Hotel
To experience exemplary adaptive reuse and conservation efforts, the Alliance arranged a visit to the Tai O Heritage Hotel on April 23, 2025. The itinerary included a village jet boat tour to explore the unique stilt houses, followed by a networking lunch at TAI O LOOKOUT Restaurant. The visit showcased how social enterprises successfully balance heritage conservation with commercial viability and sustainable tourism.
Visit to O·PARK 1
To gain insights into Hong Kong’s organic resources recovery and waste reduction strategies, the Alliance held a guided tour of O·PARK 1 in Siu Ho Wan on May 9, 2025. Members were briefed on the facility’s advanced technology in converting food waste into biogas for electricity generation and compost. The visit offered a comprehensive look at environmental protection initiatives that support Hong Kong’s sustainability goals.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort - 20th Anniversary Magical Party for Family and Friends
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and foster member connections, the Alliance joined ” The Most Magical Party of All – 20th Anniversary Magical Party for Family and Friends” on July 13, 2025. The event featured an exclusive buffet at the Explorer’s Club Restaurant, followed by special viewings of the “Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle!” Castle Stage Show, “Friendtastic!” parade and the “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky” Nighttime Spectacular. It was a joyous occasion for members to network and celebrate this significant milestone of one of the Alliance’s founding members.
LaDA Annual General Meeting 2025
The Alliance convened its 2025 Annual General Meeting on October 22 at the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel. Apart from reviewing the initiatives and achievements of the Alliance throughout the year, the meeting also featured a keynote speech by Mr. Chris Wong, General Manager, Land & SKYTOPIA Projects, Airport Authority Hong Kong, who provided an in-depth introduction to the overall planning and vision of the SKYTOPIA project. Chris’s professional insights allowed Alliance members to gain a first-hand understanding of the latest development blueprint for SkyCity, helping them discover potential business collaboration opportunities and prepare for the future development layout of Lantau.

Appeal for 2025 Legislative Council General Election
To call for active civic participation and support for Hong Kong’s future development, the Alliance issued a letter to all members on November 24, 2025, regarding the “2025 Legislative Council General Election”. In the letter, the Chairman urged members to exercise their civic duty by casting their votes on December 7 and to encourage their families and colleagues to participate, uniting to elect capable legislators for a better Hong Kong.
